Eagle Peak Lodge RV Park, Standing at the Door of Yellowstone

It’s Wednesday April 30th, the day before I can get into the Yellowstone.  I have driven 750 miles and find myself in the little town of Ashton ID.  I decided to wait here for the night and looked for a place to park.  I found a great little RV park at the Eagle Peak Lodge.    Their main business is an actual lodge.  But out back there is a nice little RV park.  It is off season and there is only electricity for now.  During the tourist season there is full hookup at each site.  Both 30 and 50 amp.  There is a nice little restaurant in front of the lodge and a gas station with a Subway sandwich shop.  Pets are welcome.  All things considered it’s a nice little package.

Because it’s off season I got the spot for $10.   When the season begins and the sewer and water are available the price is $25 a night.  There is a $350 month rate also.    The park is located on the north side of Ashton at 164 White Pines Ave. Ashton, ID 83420 208-652-3699  The place recently changed hands and the new owner has not finished branding the place.  There is a sign on the street, but the other signs are not up yet.  The staff was very friendly and accommodating.  The park is very convenient for anyone looking to fish the nearby river.  This place is a great bargain.

Thanks for the info. Next time I'm in that neck of the woods I'll look it up!
