Every couple of months the Golden Nugget holds a poker tournament with a 25K guarantee . The buy in is $135 for 12K in chips. 30 minute blinds with a good structure. Today the tournament has a 50K guarantee. same buy in and same structure. The casino needs 500 players to break even. As of an hour before the start of the tournament there were 240. I'm sure that another 100 or so will register. I'm hoping they stay well under the 500 mark. I'll post again later after the tournament has started.In June the grand series starts. This is a month long series of tournament. I most probably will not be here in June but you never know.
